Production

Grown commercially in NSW, Qld and Vic (Lee 1995).

Postharvest

Shelf life: At 10ºC and the appropriate modified atmosphere packaging, it is possible to achieve a shelf life of 27 days for mibuna and 24 days for mizuna (O'Hare et al. 1998).

Development potential rated as high for the domestic market, but volume is likely to be small. Consumed from small seedling stage to fully grown, steamed or in stir fries (Vinning 1995).
