Social and Economic Impact Assessment of the Codrilla Coal Mine Project

This project has conducted an independent social and economic impact assessment of the proposed Codrilla Coal Mine project. There are three key objectives of this report: (a) to give an estimate of the likely social impacts, (b) to estimate the magnitude and distribution of economic impacts and (c) to provide a Social Impact Management Plan (SIP) to address any potential negative impacts or enhance positive impacts of the Codrilla Coal Mine project. This study has been supported by McCollum Environmental Management Services (MEMS) Pty Ltd. A draft report has been produced in January 2010 and has been submitted to MEMS.
