  • Collaborating closely with research users and other stakeholders throughout the life of all projects;
  • Using state of the art data collection and analysis techniques housed in the Institute's Population Research Laboratory to ensure that data is collected as quickly as possible while eliminating opportunities for error;
  • Building teams of experienced social researchers with expertise in data collection and analysis, project management, communication and the specific topics on which research is focused;
  • Providing researchers with the administrative supportaccess to services and collegial environment necessary to maximise their own productivity.

The level of IHSSR contribution to any given project is, of course, negotiable and may vary from taking responsibility for particular areas such as data collection or analysis through to involvement in every aspect of that project from its conceptualisation to its evaluation.
