Factors Influencing Food Choices

This project is being conducted by Dr Karena Burke, a Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Institute for Health and Social Science Research at CQUniversity.

 Good day. I would like to ask for your participation in a study looking at the choices people make about the
 food they buy and eat.  The main aim of the project is to find out the types of pressures that are felt by
 different  groups of people in choosing food that they consume themselves, and that they might provide for
 family members such as partners and children.  You will be asked a range of questions about the things that
 influence the choices you make about food, as well as how you cope with difficult life situations. 

 As I am also interested in the extra pressures felt by individuals who have a food allergy or a food
 intolerance, those who care for someone who does, and what types of food and/or substances
 (e.g. additives) people commonly respond to, there is also a set of questions addressing these
 topics. Please answer the questions for yourself first; you will then be able to provide information about
 your partner and/or children.
 
The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete, and upon entering the survey, you will be asked to set yourself a username and password.  This is simply so you can stop the survey and re-enter it at a later point if required. This data will not be used to identify you in any way.

The survey will now remain open until Saturday 31st October. Please complete the survey only once.
