Membership

Membership of the IHSSR is easy to apply for (see links below) and provides numerous benefits to both academic staff and Research Higher Degree (RHD) students.

Potential benefits include but are not limited to eligibility for support under various Institute funding schemes, invitations to presentations, administrative support for the presentation of research findings, access to Institute research papers, as well as networking and collaborative possibilities through association with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary group.

Recognising that people will want to connect with the Institute in a variety of ways, the Institute has several categories of membership, including an Affiliate Membership that would suit non-CQUniversity staff.

Before making any application, potential members are encouraged to read our Membership Guidelines in order to assess not only which category/level of membership best suits them, but also to clarify what type of support they may/may not be entitled to. A list of associated benefits for each category of membership is included in these Guidelines.
