Committees & Meetings

The IHSSR holds regular meetings throughout the year.

The Management Committee is made up of the Institute's Director (who also acts as Chair), the Deputy Director, directors of various research centres/groups, elected representatives, other members important to the IHSSR's research profile plus the science communicator (minutes secretary). Unless otherwise directed, IHSSR members have the right to attend all meetings.

2013 Management Committee Schedule and Reports

An Advisory Board was established in April 2010 to advise the Management Committee on matters relating to the operations and stratagems of the IHSSR. This board was made up of equal numbers of external stakeholders and members drawn from the IHSSR executive. Currently the Advisory Board is inactive.

Research Meetings

In 2013 IHSSR Research Meetings will be held on the second Monday of each month unless otherwise advised. Such meetings are open to all IHSSR RHD students, school researchers, members and staff.

The meetings are hosted on Rockhampton campus with links to other centres.
