The Institute for Health and Social Science Research (IHSSR) supports grant schemes which can assist researchers in funding projects conducted by the PRL. These grants are only available to CQUniversity staff and IHSSR members. They include;

Population Research Grant Scheme

The Population Research Grant Scheme aims to promote the Institute's mission and research profile by supporting Institute members' use of the Population Research Laboratory (PRL) in such a way as to enhance their ability to apply successfully for external research grants and to publish in high quality refereed journals. Two rounds of grant funding are available each year. The first round of funding will support research integrated into the first round of the Queensland Social Survey (QSS), whereas the second round of funding will support research integrated into the second round of the Queensland Social Survey. Applications will be invited from eligible Institute members for grants of up to the nominal value of $15,000 (which equates to the inclusion of 10 basic question units in a single round of the survey).
