Margaret McAllister is Professor of Nursing at Central Queensland University. Her research and teaching focus is in mental health and nursing education. She has co-authored three books: “Solution Focused Nursing”, “The Resilient Nurse” and “Stories in Mental Health”. Margaret is a highly regarded supervisor of research students, sought-after mentor of educators in health and social sciences and regular invited speaker nationally and internationally. Over her career she has been the recipient of four awards for excellence in teaching, including in 2010 a national citation for outstanding contributions to student learning for the creation of Solution Focused Nursing.
