Researchers: Centre Membership

Research Active (Staff)

Criteria based.  A CQUni staff member who contributes to the research profile of the Centre, and meets the quality and performance measures as per the CQUniversity Research Active Principles policy.  Persons are eligible to apply to the Centre for recognition as Research Active, however they must submit sufficient evidence to satisfy the minimum performance requirements.  

Centre Member (Staff)

CQUni staff who attribute their research activities in the field of education with the Centre, either through publications entered in the University's annual HERDC publications collection, through registration of a research grant, or through a supervisor role of an active Centre RHD candidate, are recognised as a Centre Member.

It is expected that Centre Members will, under normal circumstances, attribute/align all research that is consistent with the aims and objectives of LTERC to the Centre.

Student Member (Research Higher Degree)

CQUni Research Higher Degree (RHD) students who align their thesis topic with LTERC and are supervised by a LTERC Member are recognised as a Student Member.

Additionally, RHD students who are involved in projects administered by the Centre, and who wish to be associated with LTERC will be recognised as a Student Member.

It is expected that Student Members will, under normal circumstances, attribute/align all research that is consistent with the aims and objectives of LTERC to the Centre.

Affiliate Member (Staff)

CQUniversity staff, Non-CQUniversity staff, and postgraduate students whose primary affiliations are to another research institute but who are interested in the aims and objectives of the LTERC and wish to be kept abreast of its work in the scholarship of learning and teaching as part of their research and/or professional activities, will be recognised as an Affiliate Member. 

Adjunct staff

CQUni Adjunct staff may be recognised as either Research Active, Centre Member or Affiliate Member at the discretion of the Centre Director on advice from the Management Committee.

How to Apply

To apply for membership, either:

• Complete the "Membership - Apply to Join LTERC" online form; or
• Forward an email requesting Centre Membership to the Director, Learning and Teaching Education Research Centre, c/- LTERC Administration Office, lterc@cqu.edu.au.
