Abstract

The Creative and Performing Arts Special Interest Group (CAPA SIG) is one of the most productive of the Learning and Teaching Research Centre's (LTERC) Special Interest Groups. This presentation, by the SIG's convenors will outline some the group's past achievements, current strategies and future plans. It will also showcase the SIG's successful development of an innovative communication and networking mechanism for sharing and developing research across the membership — a number of whom are RHD students studying externally.

Speaker Bio 

Professor Donna Lee Brien (Noosa campus) and Associate Professor Steven Pace (Mackay campus) convene the Creative and Performing Arts Special Interest Group (CAPA SIG) of the Learning and Teaching Research Centre (LTERC). They are both active researchers and members of the School of Education and the Arts.
