Abstract

In this seminar Professor Knudsen will present her research in new ways of analysing teaching and learning materials with a focus on minority groups and indigenous groups from a range of countries.

Speaker Bio 

Dr. Susanne V Knudsen is the Professor of Pedagogic Text at Vestfold University College in Norway.

She is the current president of the International Association for Research on Textbooks and Educational Media (IARTEM) and former senior researcher at NIKK, the Nordic Institute for Women’s Studies.

She is a world authority then portrayal of gender in teaching and learning materials and has applied a theory of intersectionality to the analysis of teaching and learning materials.
