Other Funding Opportunities - what's available

The CQUniversity Office of Research facilitates research activity conducted by CQUniversity staff and research students.  They have provided a number of services which may prove helpful to CQUni researchers in sourcing and keeping up-to-date with external and internal funding opportunities.  Visit the Research Grant Funding - Finding website

Internal CQUniversity Funding

You can develop various pathways and focus topics with the assistance of LTERC staff who will work with you to strategically position your work.

  • RDI and RAAS - the Research Development and Incentives Program (RDI), and the Research Advancement Award Scheme (RAAS) are the University's two primary internal research funding streams.  Special Research Initiatives are also advertised from time to time, with information disseminated about new opportunities via email.
With the Office of Research, we have compiled some Frequently Asked Questions and Common Assessor Issues.
  • Learning and Teaching Grants - the first step along the way of developing a research agenda in the scholarship of learning and teaching.  L&T grants are offered annually to university staff who are interested in conducting research that will directly contribute to learning, teaching and assessment enhancements at CQUniversity. A successful Learning and Teaching grant completion can then lead to an ALTC and/or ARC, or other appropriate externally funded projects.
  • Faculty Research Grants (e.g. FABIE & FSEH Internal Grant Schemes)

External Funding

LTERC can work with you and your colleague(s) to develop your project to submission stage, being first an expression of interest (EOI) and then a full project application.  If successful, LTERC will continue to work with your group to explore research opportunities around your project.

We have identified only a few researching opportunities of Learning and Teaching. A holistic view of available resources and funding opportunities is facilitated through CQUniversity's Office of Research.
