Short-term Exchange Program

Success is when opportunity meets preparation.

Seeking insights from a high-performance research culture?

The HEALTH CRN partner universities offer health-related researchers a cross-institutional collaborative experience providing the opportunity to:

hand-pointed

  • develop collaborative research relationships
  • participate in high-performance research cultures
  • enhance career development training
  • experience different philosophical approaches

 Who can participate?

Participation is open to all health-related researchers from partner universities.

The Health CRN partner universities include:

  • CQUniversity Australia
  • Curtin University
  • Queensland University of Technology
  • The University of Queensland

Up to six applicants per year may be funded.

From CQUniversity, three successful applicants will undertake a short-term exchange at one of the partners and one successful applicant from each of the other partner universities will be invited to CQUniversity.

How does it work?

The HEALTH CRN is supported through the Australian Government’s Collaborative Research Networks (CRN) Program.

Successful applicants participating in the HEALTH CRN ’s Short-term Exchange Program will be provided an opportunity to further their research career by participating in a high-performance research team from within the network of the HEALTH CRN partner universities.

The strong base of leading research centres and champions of research excellence from within the network of the HEALTH CRN partner universities provides researchers with diverse opportunities to tailor an application to best suit their individual needs.

The cross-institutional visits aim to provide researchers with experiences and opportunities to develop further collaborative research. Researchers are expected to co-author publications and grant proposals, and participate in training and career development opportunities.
