Research Training – Grant Writing for ARC and NHMRC
Registrations are now open for the following research grant writing workshops:
Workshop 1 Improving your ARC/NHMRC Grant Application (Part 1)
Friday 9th December, 9.00am-12.00noon
Rockhampton Campus, 32/LG.15
Researchers are required to bring along a rough draft of their application (copies to Leslie Walker day before the workshop so multiple copies can be made for the group work).
Workshop 2 Improving your ARC/NHMRC Grant Application (Part 2)
Monday 6th February 2012, 2.00pm – 5.00pm
Rockhampton Campus, 32/LG.15
Researchers are required to bring along a full draft of their application (copies to Leslie Walker ONE WEEK before the workshop so multiple copies can be made for the group work).
Participants must register at least one week prior to this second workshop. Each registrant will be provided with two other applications and asked to take the role of an assessor and provide anonymous assessment of the two proposals. The assessments will be discussed in group work at this workshop, together with key aspects of the application including:
The workshops will be jointly facilitated by Professor Jennelle Kyd, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & Research) and Professor Chad Hewitt, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research).
