These instructions are for CQUniversity authors who generate publications and would like to submit them to ACQUIRE. Please ensure your publications are submitted to ACQUIRE to be reviewed for the Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC) and Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) collection.
The person responsible for submitting the publication to ACQUIRE (and thereby to the HERDC collection) is usually the first-named CQUniversity author. Where the first named CQUniversity author has since left the University, then a second or third CQUniversity author should lodge the publication.
If your publication/output matches the criteria, then it is potentially eligible for inclusion in the HERDC collection.
Book - Research
Book Chapter - Research
Journal Article - Refereed
Conference Paper - Refereed
Research output that does not meet the criteria listed (eg working papers, technical reports, non-refereed articles or conference papers), can be uploaded to ACQUIRE, but will not be eligible for inclusion in the HERDC collection.
The responsible author should proceed to the ACQUIRE submission page (http://library.cqu.edu.au/gw_45_1c/html/acquire/en/common_files/acquire-contribute.htm) and complete and lodge the online submission form. Authors will be asked to upload electronic copies of the relevant publication (book, book chapter, journal article or conference paper), and will be asked to enter other details of verification documents applicable to the category of publication.
It is strongly encouraged that authors familiarise themselves with the verification documents usually required by DIISR, so that the information can be provided with the submission or if requested.
