On-Campus Accommodation

Rockhampton

Capricornia College is situated on the Rockhampton Campus and provides accommodation and meals for 320 male and female students of the University in gender-integrated residential houses. Each student has their own study/bedroom supplied with desk, chair, built-in wardrobe, fan, bookcase and curtains. All rooms are fully carpeted and fly-screened. The study/bedrooms are also equipped with private and individual telephones with local, interstate and overseas access as well as voice-mail facilities. Residents' individual study/bedrooms are cleaned each week, whilst the communal bathrooms are cleaned regularly. 

Mackay

Mackay Student Residential College operates as a non-profit community residential facility offering a comfortable and supportive living environment for people undertaking post-secondary study/training in the Mackay region. Residents may stay for a short or long term, depending on the length of course undertaken. With a choice of two convenient locations, the College provides a cost-effective alternative to private rental accommodation.

Emerald

Accommodation at CQUniversity Emerald is available at the adjacent Australian Agricultural College. There are 150 single-study fully furnished bedrooms that are serviced weekly. There is also a common room in each residential block fitted with a television, kitchenette and dial-in telephone. Meals are served three times a day and seven days a week in the dining room during term time. A full laundry service is also provided with coin-operated machines available for out-of-hours use. Safety and security is provided through after-hours supervision, safety lighting and nightly security patrols.
