The Bundaberg campus library endeavours to collect books and some other items of relevance to the Wide Bay-Burnett region, which is defined by the area of our map.

What sort of material do we collect?

  • Works by and about local authors
     
  • Works related to the history of the Wide Bay Burnett region
     
  • Works related to the unique nature of this area in relation to Queensland and Australia
     
  • Works related to this region that are of importance to the region's economy: sugar cane, horticulture, aquaculture, water management, coastal management, tourism
     
  • Works relating to this region which are of importance to the region's social structure: publications from local businesses, government departments and organisations
     
  • Publications by and about local indigenous and Torres Strait Islander groups: history and culture
     
  • Works of a local nature that relate to courses and programs studied at CQUniversity Bundaberg.

Items in the regional collection may only be used in the library. Our opening hours are available online if you would like to visit us.
