Borrowing from other CQ Campus Libraries

Books, journals, music, DVDs etc. located at any of our CQ Campus Libraries (Bundaberg, Gladstone, Mackay, Noosa or Rockhampton) are available for loan. This service is not available to students from the Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne campuses. Requests can be submitted via Discover It!, the Library Catalogue, online, by telephone or in person.

How to request materials from another campus using Discover It!

  • Click on the Request this Item link that appears under each book record in the results list.
  • Enter your details into the top section of the form and click Submit.  

How to request material from another campus using the Library Catalogue

You can request titles not held at your campus library is to email the record/s directly from the Library Catalogue. Instructions on how to do this are outlined below:

  • Search the catalogue for relevant titles
  • Tick the box of each title you wish to borrow then click the Save Marked Records box at either the top or bottom of the page before moving to a new page
  • You can perform as many new searches as you wish provided you remember to save your marked records
  • When all items you wish to borrow have been marked and saved, select the tab 'View Marked Records' at the top left hand corner of the page to retrieve the records
  • Select the email button from the list and submit
  • Fill in the details in Section B of the form and select Send Mail
