Borrowing a Library item or Placing a Hold

Central Queensland Campus and Distance Students

To borrow or place a hold on an item, submit a 'request an item' online form or contact us to request a hold on the first available copy. Holds are not placed on items for campus students when the item is available in their home campus library.

Staff will advise you of the likely date an item will be available. Regular loans will be held for collection (for campus students) for 7 days and short term loans for 3 days.

When making a request please provide us with your library barcode and the call number of the item required.

Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney Students

To place a hold on an item that is not available at your Campus Library, contact us to request a hold on the first available copy.

Staff will advise you of the likely date an item is available for collection. When a hold is placed on an item that is checked out or on short term loan, you will be notified when the item is available for collection. Standard loans will be held for collection for 2 days.

When making a request please provide us with your library barcode and the call number of the item required.
