Reserve

If a lecturer or course coordinator believes that a print resource will be in high demand they can request that item placed in the Closed Reserve. The item/s are removed from the general collection and placed on Reserve. Students can then access the item/s for a period of 2 hour, or overnight (if requested in the last hour of the library being open). The item/s will be held in Reserve for the remainder of the semester and then be returned to the general collection.

Please note: These item/s are unavailable to off-campus students.

Reserve Submission form 

Students can search the library catalogue for these titles separately, by doing a Reserve search.

  • Type in the relevant course code or lecturer's name and select the appropriate field from the 'Choose a Field' drop down menu.
  • A list of course codes will be displayed. From this list click on the relevant course code.
  • Details of the lecturer and the number of items on reserve are displayed.
  • Click on the course code hyperlink to see the details of the items on reserve.
