Shelf Retrieval and Postal Service
Rockhampton Campus Library Services for Equity and Diversity Students
Equity and Diversity students with mobility disabilities may request shelf retrieval of items or have items posted to them. Students may request an equity or diversity officer to write to the Library to authorise either one or both of these services.
Once authorised - please contact the Library. Please provide a list of call numbers. You will need to allow 1 working day for retrieval of items. If you are coming to collect the items, we recommend that you phone the Enquiry Centre beforehand to check whether your items have been retrieved.
If you require assistance for postage, paying fines or replacing lost library materials, please contact the Equity and Diversity Office.
Rockhampton Equity and Diversity students with vision impairment may borrow items from the Reference Collection on Level 1 for a period of 2 hours for use in the Vision Access Centre.
Students can make appointments with a Liaison Librarian at the Vision Access Centre if they require reference, guidance or information.
Please contact your Liaison Librarian.
The Equity and Diversity Office has provided a Galileo Reader/Scanner which is available for use in the Library on Level 1. The Galileo scanner allows you to scan the page and have the book read the text to you. Instructions for using the scanner are available near the machine. If you require assistance please ask at the Information Desk.
