Professional Assistance from Liaison Librarians

Liaison Librarians provide professional one-on-one assistance by phone, email and in person to academics, researchers and students.

This is given by

  • assisting clients to locate relevant information from the myriad of information sources available.

  • collaborating with academics to tailor information literacy programs to meet individual needs, including input into design and planning of information literacy components of new academic courses.

  • evaluating and developing the library's information resources in their discipline area to ensure they are current and reflect client needs and library policies.

  • advising on deployment and utilisation of resources across all campuses.
