Linking to articles published in the Harvard Business Review

Please Note: The licence with Ebscohost does not permit direct links to articles within Harvard Business Review from within Moodle or in other course materials provided to students.

We suggest that if you would like to refer students to articles in the HBR, you could use either of these two methods:

  • Submit a Course Resources Online (CRO) request to the Library. The Library will then scan the article from a printed copy of HBR and provide a persistent URL to which you can link in Moodle. Articles from journals which are available in Library databases are usually not eligible for CROs, but this is an exception as the licence is so restrictive.

  • Provide a link to the Library Catalogue record from which students could link through to a table of contents page of HBR in Business Source Complete. Students can then click on the full text options and browse to find the article they need. The link is: http://library.cqu.edu.au/cgi-bin/provider.pl?keyword=0017-8012
