Linking to Course Resources Online

Description

Course Resources Online (CRO) have been selected to complement courses offered at CQUniversity and are made available in consultation with the relevant academic staff.  For more information about CROs please see the information for academics.

There are two ways of linking to CROs.  The first uses an openURL to link to the catalogue record for the article, the second links directly to the article itself.

A link to the catalogue record, which contains the current link to the article, is less likely to change and therefore less likely to need editing in successive course offerings.

 LINKING DIRECTLY TO THE CRO

1. From Discover It!

  1. From the Library home page, enter the course code into the Discover It! search box and click Search.

  2. Find the article you want to link to.

  3. Right mouse click on the Online Access link, and select Copy Link Location.

  4. Create a link within Moodle using this URL.

To ensure copyright compliance all linked articles must open in a new browser window - instructions.
