Resource and Access Services

Resource and Access Services comprises the following sections:

  • Acquisitions purchase all non-subscription collection resources for all CQUniversity libraries.

  • Serials purchase and manage annual subscriptions to print and electronic, datasets and journals for all campuses. Newspaper subscriptions are managed for the Queensland campuses only. 

  • Access Services is responsible for the bibliographic and authority control of all library resources through the library's catalogue and the end processing of library materials.

  • Document Delivery provides inter-library loan services to CQUniversity staff and researchers and other libraries.

  • Course Resources Online provide enhanced access to limited print resources through the the digitization of copyright journal articles and / or book chapters. The section also manages the Central Registration of Copyright system on behalf of the University.

The Deputy Director (Resource and Access Services) is also responsible for ensuring the ICT infrastructure of the Division is responsive to the needs of divisional staff, AIC campus libraries and the University community as a whole.
