Windows 7 Tips

Windows 7 is progressively being installed staff and student computers at CQUniversity.

Here is some infomation to help you become familar with using Windows 7. It has been categorised into 2 areas - Basic Tips (standard operations/navigation) and Advanced Tips (features that are more involved/not required for standard operation).

Please note:

a. Some of these links will open PDF files and some will take you to the Microsoft website.


b. Certain features outlined in the below user guides may only be available on CQUni staff installations.

c. Any staff logging on to a workstation in a computer lab will need to prefix their username with CQU\ (CQU\username) as there is no longer a domain selection menu.
