Endnote for Students

Endnote is a Bibliographic database management software that has been specifically designed for storage of citation data.

Available to CQUni students at Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Mackay, Emerald, Noosa, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide campuses

EndNote may only be installed on machines belonging to or under the direct control of the University, and in addition staff or students of the university may also install EndNote on home computers for teaching, administrative and research purposes.

License Terms and Conditions of Use

CQUniversity has a University Site License Agreement for EndNote, which provides the 'right to use' the software for the term of the license agreement.

1. The software may be used only while the user is an eligible member of CQUniversity i.e.
   • Staff currently employed by CQUniversity
   • Postgraduate and undergraduate students currently enrolled in programs at CQUniversity
   The licence to use the software under this agreement will terminate when you are no longer a staff member or student of CQUniversity.
    The software may be used by staff and students only at the specifically listed CQUniversity campuses.
2. The software may be used at CQUniversity or at your principal residence but is limited to use related to course work, research or other work directly related to your relationship with CQUniversity.
3. The software cannot be sold, lent, or given to anyone except eligible members of CQUniversity.
4. EndNote is preregistered to the University, so there is no need for you to register directly.

How do I get the Software?

To DOWNLOAD a copy of the software you will need to complete the steps in the following Installation Guide.

Alternatively, CD MEDIA copies are available. Contact the ITD Service Centre.

You are requested to provide a blank CD for the software to be copied onto. To satisfy the license agreement a record of your Name and Student ID will be recorded.
