Recording your Screencast Video

The University standard software for recording screen-casts is Camtasia Studio. This allows you to record PowerPoint presentations, websites, webcam videos and instructional video guides. Camtasia Studio includes various features which allow editing and modifications to the videos once recorded.

Uploading your Screencast Video & Audio to Moodle

The Moodle Course Media Block allows you to upload your recorded screencast into Moodle, in the appropriate formats to ensure that students can access your recording from a variety of computers and mobile devices. The Moodle Course Media Block must be used to upload screencast recordings into Moodle – other methods of uploading video and audio into Moodle are not supported.
