Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance

CQUniversity currently holds a membership to the Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDN-AA).  This subscription provides access to Microsoft software, servers, platforms and development tools at no cost (subject to license terms and conditions), to eligible staff and students.

N.B. Access to the MSDN-AA is not available to all CQUniversity staff, only to those who fit the eligibility criteria listed below.

MSDN-AA access is only available to CQUniversity staff who:

  • develop and teach science, technology, engineering and maths courses and programs
  • assist with the development and delivery of science, technology, engineering and maths courses and programs
  • conduct non-commercial science, technology, engineering or maths research on behalf of CQUniversity

For a list of available software, please view the MSDN-AA Software List.

Staff wishing to access software through CQUniversity's MSDN-AA membership should send a request through to the ITD Service Desk.  Provided you meet the eligibility criteria, you will be provided access to CQUniversity's MSDN-AA ELMS website (E-academy License Management System), through which the software is distributed.
