CRNRC Modules

The CRNRC course for Registered Nurses is made up of 10 online modules. These are:
  •     Understanding the Australian Health Care System
  •     Professional Communication
  •     Assessment & Care Planning
  •     Legal & Ethical Frameworks
  •     Professional Nurse Practice
  •     Leadership & Teamwork
  •     Evidence Based Clinical Practice
  •     Culture & Health
  •     Pharmacology
  •     Mental Health Nursing
Overall the modules have a total study commitment of 400 hours over 10 weeks. After completion of these modules students will have:
  • developed the knowledge, skills and other attributes that are required for the RN to be able to provide nursing care competently and within the overarching context of safe practice;
  • the necessary knowledge and skills to re-enter the nursing profession as a safe and competent beginning level nurse in line with the ANMC Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse.
