Samantha Willes

While studying towards her degree, Samantha worked full time as a trainee accountant for a local accounting firm. After graduation, she commenced her Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) and qualified in February 2010 after 3 years of extra study and workplace mentoring.

She joined her local Branch Committee of CPA, becoming the youngest member of the Committee and also took on the role of Secretary at that time. She has maintained her role as Secretary since that time. Samantha strongly encourages students to attend CPA and other professional and networking functions to help them to learn and grow.

Samantha is currently the Principal Internal Auditor for the Mackay region of a State Government Department. In 2014, she was awarded the J M Klausman Scholarship for Women In Business by the Zonta Club of Mackay.
