John commenced at Lynxrail in 2012 as the Commercial Manager with the task of connecting industry with the company's innovative technology. He worked in a number of engineering technology roles at QR/QR National in Telecommunications, Overhead Traction Power Systems and Rollingstock Maintenance.
In addition, he has worked as an Engineering Services Manager in the acute and aged-care health industry as well as being an Infantry Officer in the Australian Army Reserve reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
He is an active surf lifesaver and Masters surf boat rower.
