Engineering Alumni Walk

What is the Engineering Alumni Walk?

Several pavers installed in the precinct courtyardThe Engineering Alumni Commemorative Walk will build a permanent reminder of the success of engineering graduates of CQUniversity Australia and its antecedent institutions. The strength of the CQUniversity School of Engineering will be celebrated, with the walk providing an opportunity to be included in a permanent testimonial to the hard work of graduates during their studies at CQUniversity.

Alumni details will be etched into granite pavers, and the pavers will be laid in the courtyard of the Engineering Precinct, between buildings 28, 29 and 30 upon the CQUniversity Rockhampton campus grounds.

The pavers will be laid in a random pattern in the precinct. A record of the location of each paver will be held in the Development and Alumni Relations Directorate. The inclusion of your paver in the walk will result in a durable and elegant record of your time at CQUniversity.

How can I take part?

The Alumni Walk is only open to graduates of an engineering program at CQUniversity. Alumni and their families are invited to purchase a paver via our secure online payment facility, for installation in the Engineering Precinct courtyard at CQUniversity Rockhampton. CQUniversity will co-ordinate the etching and laying of the paver on behalf of the alumnus.

You are welcome to purchase a paver for yourself, or to honour another person. An alumnus’ details will be verified against University records prior to the paver being etched, to ensure correct details are included on each paver.
