Student Built Accommodation

As there are three universities located on the Gold Coast, there are a variety of accommodation options to consider. For example there are privately built student accommodation centers, which provide University community style living for potential residents.

There are four Uni student purpose built accommodation complexes in northern Gold Coast. They are a short drive, or bus ride from CQUniversity Gold Coast.
These are privately owned and operated but have been built for Gold Coast University students.

To live in any of these accommodation providers' students need to make their own arrangements with the accommodation provider by contacting them directly.

These are all three bedroom apartments, each bedroom containing bed, ensuite, study desk and chair, phone line and internet access. They are all fully furnished and fully self-contained. Rent is from AUD $150 / week.

Public Accommodation Options

Alternatively there is a public site available on the Internet, which lists Real Estate for purchase, private rental, and share accommodation. You can go to that site and look under share accommodation section. It should be noted that this is an open system available to all members of the public, and is not specifically for University students.

Some students prefer to take up short-term accommodation after they arrive, and personally inspect potential housing choices. For short-term accommodation you may wish to book into the Aquarius Backpacker accommodation, which is located nearby CQUniversity Gold Coast.
