Petar started tapping at the age of 10, and progressed successfully through many eisteddfods (local and state-wide), receiving numerous Tap Championships, aggregates and other awards. He has been teaching for the Leisa Payne School of Dance for seven years, and in that time, has choreographed successful Tap Groups, Song and Dance Groups, and Championship-winning solos. With a background in Irish, Jazz, Contemporary, Classical, Acting, Music and Singing, Petar has also performed lead roles in many local musicals, including 42nd Street, Beauty and the Beast, Fame, Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore, Singin' in the Rain, Secret Garden and 2012’s The Boy From Oz (as Peter Allen). In his spare time, Petar is a full-time Senior School teacher at Whitsunday Anglican School.
