Dolly Louw trained in classical, jazz, tap and musical theatre at Theatre Arts Mackay, under the mentorship of Lynette Denny. She graduated in 1995 with Advanced RAD and Gold Cross Tap CSTD. In her early career, she was a member of the Queensland Young Dancers and appeared in many stage productions as a young student. As an established dancer she has travelled Australia and the world performing with an array of companies, in a variety of roles.
Most notably, Dolly worked as a professional dancer in the stage show, Mystique, at Conrad Jupiters Casino, Gold Coast in 1996. She was also employed with Warner Bros Movie World before accepting a lead role for Sydney Showtime Production in Thailand and later Europe. Following this Dolly spent six years with the American-based company, Carnival Cruise Lines, where she worked as a lead dancer on cruise liners and travelled the world in this capacity. Dolly is now married and a mother of two and has spent the last seven years working in a variety of teaching roles. She has worked under the direction of Lynette Denny at Theatre Arts Mackay as a Ballet and Jazz teacher and is currently employed with Fame Dance School as a Cabaret and Jazz teacher.
