Based upon the 1939 classic movie, The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz is a sparkling new musical version accompanied by a “can’t hold yourself still” rhythmic, soul-music score.

The show features all of your favourite Oz characters: Dorothy, the Tinman, Lion, Scarecrow and of course, everyone’s favourite pooch, Toto. Join in the excitement of our adventurers as they follow the Yellow Brick Road through the Land of Oz. Sway along with their catchy songs and see if you can hold still during the show-stopping dance routines.

It’s time to become a child again….bring your own, or just come along by yourself. Reawaken yourself to modern musical pantomime at its best.

Taking place in New York City in 1922, Thoroughly Modern Millie tells the story of young Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city in search of a new life for herself. It's a New York full of intrigue and jazz - a time when women were entering the workforce and the rules of love and social behaviour were changing forever.

Filled with frisky flappers, dashing leading men and a dragon-lady of a villainess audiences will love to hate, Thoroughly Modern Millie is a perfectly constructed evening of madcap merriment. And with the role of Millie Dillmount, musical theatre has found a new heroine for the ages in Thoroughly Modern Millie.

This is one of the most exciting nights of the CQCM concert calendar. The Jazz and Popular Music students present a concert of pop and rock standards in a number of fast moving and high energy sets. With a light show adding to the mood and excitement, authentic costuming and choreography that has the audience wanting to join in, this a night for all the family. The music is the final ingredient and the students never fail to impress with style and technique way beyond their years.
