CQUniversity Big Breakfast for Flood Relief

CQUniversity is encouraging Rockhampton locals to dig deep for flood-affected Queenslanders – and enjoy a great barbecue breakfast in the process.

This Thursday 7th February, CQUniversity will host The Big Breakfast at its Rockhampton campus, with all proceeds to go towards the Red Cross Queensland Floods Appeal 2013.

The event will get underway at 7.15am at the CQUniversity Commercial Centre (retail precinct), with visitor parking available (enter via the main campus entrance on the Bruce Highway, then take the first left turn). All members of the community are invited. Attendees are asked to bring along their loose change to fill up the Red Cross donation buckets, and to help themselves to a tasty breakfast on the way to work or school – all for a great cause.

The recent flood event has hit close to home for CQUniversity, with a number of staff and students at its Bundaberg campus (and other campuses) directly affected.
