A delightful small book, filled with poets such as Graham Nunn, Will Fraser, Jules Leigh Koch, John West and Paula Green and many more. Graham is a founding member of the notorious speedpoets, and currently edits a monthly 'zine'. He was director of the Queensland Poetry Festival this year. The authors appear from all over Australia, Paul Murphy lives in Belfast, Ireland. Two small poems intrigued this author:

Fish Wit

You fillet me
With your blade of wit

I'm cut from the bone
Exposing the humour
Of compromised flesh

Adrian Flavell

And as a television and movie fantatic, passionate about James Bond's Casino Royale or The Bourne Ultimatum, here is an action packed sonnet by a Victorian writer.

A Treatise on Contemporary American Cinema

One explosion is not enough
It must be shot from
Many different angles
And it must trigger
A series of other explosions
All of which are greater
In magnitude and intensity
Than the one before.
And that's just
A romantic comedy
