Over a five day period, seven areas of study are covered:

  • 2007 Senior Technology Studies Syllabus.
  • Product design; Design process for the classroom.
  • Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Industrial materials and hardware for cabinet making.
  • Hand tools, power tools and machines: Timber bias but not limited to.
  • Processes for manufacturing products.
  • Basic preparation of materials for the classroom, including costing and budgeting for activities within a school environment.
