Essential Reading:  The resource course book will be placed on Blackboard for your pre-reading before the course. The resource book includes the course outline, assignment requirements, examples of classwork, and contextual approaches. You should familiarise yourself with the Senior Graphics syllabus (2007) on the QSA website (http://www.qsa.qld.edu.au/2153.html#syllabus).

                There is no required textbook for the course. The school will utilise the textbooks: 
                                Pickering, H. (1988). Junior Graphics. The Jacaranda Press.
                        Fair, D., Kenny, M. (1987). Design Graphics. Hodda & Stoughton

Graphics equipment needed for the course:
Students are required to bring an A4 display folder, at least a 4GB USB memory stick.
Other essential equipment from the previous year would be a black fineliner (0.4), black chisel marker, crayola colour pencil set and eraser.

Individual Student CAD Kits will be supplied by the school. This will include the following: A3 grid paper, one chisel cool gray marker, A3 plastic folder and Photocopied Resources.

Session Times:
                8:00 am - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Dress:
                Smart casual. BYO lunch.

 You will receive a booklet with resource material that can be used during your teaching.
