About the Head of Campus, Bundaberg

Professor Clift is the Head of the Bundaberg CQUniversity, Australia. He holds qualifications in Economics and Statistics from the University of Queensland, and in Marketing and Finance from the University of Edinburgh. He commenced his career as an agricultural economist before moving into academia. His first academic post was at the now Queensland University of Technology where he lectured in Economics and Management Science. He followed this with positions at Curtin University and Edith Cowan University.

Professor Clift has a conviction that regional campuses must be close to the communities that they serve. For this reason, he has considerable involvement in community activities including membership of the Wide Bay Burnett Committee of Regional Development Australia. Phillip has consulting experience in business finance, marketing and organisational development. He was a pioneer in the development of the export of Australian educational services.
