Client Referral

The Wellness Centre is open to clients on:

Tuesday through to Thursday,
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Anyone can make a referral to see a therapist at the CQUniversity Psychology Wellness Centre.

The form can be electronically completed but will need to be printed and faxed to the Centre. PCs with Adobe Pro can save the form to their computer and email the referral form to wellnesscentre@cqu.edu.au

Because the Wellness Centre is a training facility, clients will be screened according to the capabilities of both the Centre and the assigned therapist.

All clients receive a free 15-minute interview to allow the Centre to assess its ability to support the needs of the client and to assign an appropriate therapist. A letter will be sent from the Wellness Centre to the client regarding an appointment time and date.

After this initial interview, an appointment for therapy or assessment can be made with the Centre receptionist. Therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes in length.

Fees: Clients therapy session $30
  CQUniversity student $15
  Psychological assessment and report   $220
