Wellness Centre

The Wellness Centre is a psychology training and research centre staffed by students in the Masters in Clinical Psychology program under the supervision of registered psychologists with clinical training and experience.

We provide assessment and therapy services for persons in the community. It is a place where you or someone you care about can get help with life's problems. If you or someone you care about is having difficulty coping with life please contact the centre for a free initial consultation.

The centre aim is to develop integrated health consultation with other disciplines such as nursing, social work, primary physicians, and other community agencies.

Our Services

The Centre provides high quality assessment and treatment services to people who are experiencing a range of psychological issues, such as:

  • Depression
  • Stress, fear/anxiety or anger
  • Workplace stress
  • Adjustment to a new life stage
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Loss, grief and bereavement
  • Family and parenting issues
  • Sense of purpose/life direction
  • Self-worth and motivation

Staff at the Centre will help you assess current difficulties and challenges, such as: adjustment issues, learning difficulties, head injuries and aging related disorders. Throughout this process you will be supported through our use of methods that are based on sound scientific evidence and deep understanding of human psychological functioning.
