Residential Life Team

At the Rockhampton and Mackay Student Residences, the Residential Life Team is responsible for in-house pastoral care and after-hours support, as well as the promotion of community life through the organisation of recreational, academic and community activities.

The Residential Life Team consists of the following:

  • Residential Life Manager
  • Senior Residential Coordinator
  • Senior Residential Advisor
  • Residential Advisors (RAs)


The RAs live on-campus amongst the students (within each house) and are easily contactable to offer support and pastoral care, contributing to the development of a supportive, caring and quality academic residential community. They assist in the running of the student residences outside of office hours.

They are also responsible for house management, and the development of appropriate attitudes and standards of behaviour and conduct amongst the students.
