CQUniversity's Quality Enhancement Framework aims to detail CQUniversity's integrated approach to quality and the features that enable CQUniversity staff, community and its stakeholders to have a shared understanding of the approach to quality assessment and assurance.
The Quality Enhancement Framework is a systematic and structured support system that enables evaluation of practices, performance and processes for quality assurance and continual improvement. The Quality Enhancement Framework supports the University's vision, strategy, policies, procedures, management and governance to achieve institutional and individual goals.
CQUniversity's Quality Enhancement Framework is based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) quality assurance and enhancement model, known as the Quality Cycle.

Benchmarking and evaluation activities inform the University’s quality processes through provision of internal and external reference points. Benchmarking assists CQUniversity to measure its effectiveness in achieving its performance objectives (benchmarks) and to place these achievements in a broader environmental context. It informs strategic planning and decision-making through the identification of strengths and weaknesses in practices and performance. These are described in the Benchmarking Principles.
Please also refer to additional benchmarking information available from the Benchmarking pages of this site The information on this site is designed to assist staff in their benchmarking activities by providing some broad advice and guidance on various topics related to benchmarking.
