A number of programs, especially those accredited by professional bodies, require students to undertake work experience relevant to the profession. Details of any such experience are included in the program structure and published on the University's web site and in the Student Handbook. This may be called a Practicum, Work Placement or Work Experience.
CQUniversity Bundaberg works closely with the community to ensure that students can not only undertake placements but also find mentors who provide advice and support throughout their program. These relationships also allow us to host industry people as guest lecturers or as guests at events throughout the year.
