CQUniversity Archives

The University maintains a collection of archival material documenting the history of the organisation and its predecessor institutions.This information must be retained permanently by CQUniversity and after a significant period of time may be accessed by the public, local researchers etc.

Some of the material that can be found in the archive collection include:

  • Establishment - information relating tot he establishment of the University
  • Pre-CQUni institutions (QITC, CIAE, UCCQ)
  • Council - agendas, minutes and associated papers
  • Academic Board - agendas, minutes and associated papers
  • Student Handbooks
  • Examination papers - master set
  • University publications (CIAO, UCQ Newsletter etc)
  • Annual reports
  • Photographs - buildings, grounds, graduations, events etc

Material is not to be removed from the archive and must be accessed within the records office or in electronic format. If you wish to access any of the archive material please contact the Records Team on x2686 or email: records@cqu.edu.au.
