Defensive Driving

CQUniversity is a multi-city University with campuses spread across great distances in Queensland. The distance between the Mackay and Noosa Campuses (860km) is the same as the distance from Sydney to Melbourne, or a bit further than from Paris to Barcelona (830km)! The distances we cover as part of our work are just one of the risk factors when taking a journey.

To assist staff with refreshing their defensive driving skills, we have collated a list of providers who can deliver driver training across the state. A Defensive Driving course provides drivers with the necessary skills and knowledge to become safer on the road. We recommend those staff members who are regularly travelling between the campuses by vehicle to consider completing one of these courses.

On completion of your course please provide a copy of your certificate to People and Culture, Building 2, CQUniversity Rockhampton, for inclusion on your personnel file.
