Safety in the Workplace

CQUniversity takes a proactive approach to the avoidance of injuries by providing training in a variety of areas. These currently include Ergonomics, Manual Handling, Risk Assessment and Plant Isolation.

These courses are provided regularly on Rockhampton campus and during campus visits at other campuses. Whenever possible these courses are conducted free of charge. Training sessions and further information can be found in the online Training Calendar.

The Safety and Environment Unit can also assist to facilitate Defensive Driving courses.
